We have operated a full time instrument repair service since 1930.  Relocating from Fredonia, New York to Orange Park, Florida in 2005, we continue our history of excellent quality repairs and outstanding customer service.

Jim Costello, our main technician, has been repairing woodwinds, brass, string instruments, and percussion for 30 years.  He has a degree in Musical Instrument Technology from the State University of New York in Morrisville.  He also apprenticed under his father, Vincent Costello, who started the business in 1930 repairing instruments for all the big bands who traveled through Cleveland, including Benny Goodman, Count Basie, Stan Kenton, to name a few.

Maureen Russ studied Flute Performance at Stetson University and received her bachelor’s degree in 2006, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She has also taught violin to underprivileged children as part of A Gift for Music, a program designed to teach children orchestral instruments that would not otherwise have the chance. Aside from teaching violin, Maureen has also taught flute lessons at Music and Arts from 2007 to 2010. In 2010 Maureen traveled to Minnesota where she received her diploma in Band Instrument Repair from Minnesota State College Southeast Technical in Red Wing with High Honors. She is a member of NAPBIRT and currently employed at Costello’s Music in Orange Park, FL as a band instrument repair technician.
